Empowering Communities
Loksakha Welfare Society is NGO established in 2004 by founder Late Mrityunjoy Sen, a Banker, a renowned poet & author and Ms. Mamata Sen, ex-employee, National Library.
We are registered under the Societies Act, Govt. of India. We work in the areas of education, building skills, health and women empowerment.
The Team
As Co‑Founder of Loksakha Welfare Society and a retired librarian, Mamata Sen has been a guiding force in community development for over two decades. Her deep commitment to social equity and grassroots empowerment has played a pivotal role in shaping Loksakha’s vision and mission. Through steady leadership and community trust, she continues to strengthen Loksakha’s long-term impact.
